Hello, world

Welcome to the first post on my new site. After years of meaning to, I finally have a proper home on the web — one I own, on my own domain, that isn’t at the mercy of some platform’s redesign or shutdown.

Why bother with a personal site

Social feeds are rented land. Posts scroll away, accounts get suspended, and the design changes underneath you. A personal site is different: it’s a small, permanent corner of the internet that’s entirely yours. It’s where I can point people when they ask what I do, and where I can write without a character limit or an algorithm deciding who sees it.

What to expect

I’ll use this space for a few things:

No fixed schedule, no pressure to perform. Just a place to think out loud.

If you’re reading this, thanks for stopping by. More soon.
